WILL or GOING TO

FUTURE SIMPLE in English: Will or Going To?

Noiz erabiltzen da bakoitza?

1. the FUTURE IN ENGLISH

Ingelesean bi era daude gero gertatuko denari buruz hitz egiteko: WILL eta GOING TO. Bakoitza halere, egoera ezberdinetan erabiltzen da. Noiz erabiltzen da bakoitza?

Teoria nahiko erraxa da. GOING TO zerbait aurretik pentsatua eta planeatua duzunean erabiltzen da (PLANS).

1. For example if you have bought the tickets for a concert, then you are going to see the concert.

If you have bought the the plane tickets for London, then you are going to go to London on the 5th of December.

2. Momentuan erabakitzen ari bazara zer egingo duzun, orduan WILL erabili beharko duzu:( SPONTANEOUS DECISIONS, HOPES OR PREDICTIONS)

For example, if you see a T-shirt you like in a shop, then you could say: "I will buy
                       that T-shirt; it is perfect".

3. Or if you are doing predictions, without any evidence of what might happen, then you could say:

For example: " I think that in the next match, Irujo will win against Olaizola "
and you bet for Irujo some money (eta Irujoren aldeko apostu egiten duzu                                                                                  dirutan).

OK, that is the most important about these future tenses! Now, try these, they are easy and you can correct your answer in the same page!

1. Rafa Benitez in tears at Hillsborough 22 memorial (the Hillsborough disaster)

The Hillsborough disaster resulted in the deaths of 96 people and injuries to 766 others, at a match between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest atHillsborough Stadium, Sheffield, England, on 15 April 1989.
The disaster has since been blamed primarily on the police for letting too many people enter the stadium. It remains the worst stadium-related disaster in English sports history, and one of the world's worst football disasters

2.  The Miracle of Istambul

The 2005 UEFA Champions League Final was the final match of the 2004–05 UEFA Champions League, Europe's primary club football competition.

The showpiece event was contested between Liverpool of England and Milan of Italy at the Atatürk Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey on 25 May 2005. Liverpool, who had won the competition four times, were appearing in their sixth final, and their first since 1985.

Milan, who had won the competition six times, were appearing in their second final in three years and tenth overall.Liverpool's comeback gave rise to the final being known as the Miracle of Istanbul, and is regarded as one of the finest moments of the club's history.

3. The atmosphere in the Stadium: The Kop (Kop Stand)("Kop" Grada deitua) - in Anfield Stadium

This stand became legendary in football for the atmosphere, the wit and the sheer noise that the Liverpool supporters could create during a match, before the Taylor Report meant the huge terrace had to be rebuilt as an all-seater in the early 1990s.

Nevertheless, the Kop is still regarded as creating the most intense atmosphere in English football, with the many songs and massive volume that LFC fans create wherever they go.

3. SONGS

SONG: FIX YOU by COLDPLAY

"Fix You" LYRICS
When you try your best, but you don't succeed
When you get what you want, but not what you need
When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse
And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone, but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

And high up above or down below
When you're too in love to let it go
But if you never try you'll never know
Just what you're worth

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

Tears stream down your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down your face and I
Tears stream down your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down your face and I

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

SONGs: MORE THAN WORDS by EXTREME

Saying "I love you"
Is not the words
I want to hear from you
It's not that I want you
Not to say
But if you only knew

How easy
It would be to
Show me how you feel
More than words
Is all you have to do
To make it real
Then you wouldn't
Have to say
That you love me
Cause I'd already know

What would you do?
If my heart
Was torn in two
More than words
To show you feel
That your love
For me is real
What would you say
If I took
Those words away
Then you couldn't
Make things new,
Just by saying
"I love you"
More than words,
More than words

Now that I've tried to
Talk to you
And make you understand
All you have to do
Is close your eyes
And just reach out your hands

And touch me
Hold me close
Don't ever let me go
More than words
Is all I ever
Needed you to show
Then you wouldn't
Have to say
That you love me
Cause I'd already know

What would you do if my heart was torn in two
More than words to show you feel
That your love for me is real
What would you say if I took those words away
Then you couldn't make things new
Just by saying I love you

La di da, da di da, di dai dai da
More than words

La di da, da di da, di dai dai da
More than words

La di dai, dai dai, di dai dai da
La la di da da da

La di dai dai da
La la da da
More than words

Oooh uuuuh uuuh
Uuh

More than words

SONG:
Wherever You Will Go by The  Calling

"Wherever You Will Go"
So lately, been wondering
Who will be there to take my place
When I'm gone, you'll need love
To light the shadows on your face

If a great wave shall fall
It'd fall upon us all
And between the sand and stone
Could you make it on your own?

[Chorus:]
If I could, then I would
I'll go wherever you will go
Way up high or down low
I'll go wherever you will go

And maybe, I'll find out
The way to make it back someday
To watch you, to guide you
Through the darkest of your days

If a great wave shall fall
It'd fall upon us all
Well I hope there's someone out there
Who can bring me back to you

[Chorus]

Run away with my heart
Run away with my hope
Run away with my love

I know now, just quite how
My life and love might still go on
In your heart, in your mind
I'll stay with you for all of time

[Chorus]

If I could turn back time
I'll go wherever you will go
If I could make you mine
I'll go wherever you will go

I'll go wherever you will go
